Baratti's store was a grocery store located on military road in Marion, AR. I had this opportunity to recreate this historic store with help. Baratti's went out of business in 1992. My mom and dad would buy groceries here on credit and pay out every month. I loved the rotisserie chicken and all the candy! They had every variety and for a child I couldn't stand it! All of the old stores (mom and pop) have closed and their is not the intimate connection to the community. One of a kind.... Acrylic on canvas - 24x36
