This was painted during a intuitive painting day that I gave myself. It was during an especially challenging time. My Dad was in the hospital. I knew I needed to work through some things and painting is almost always what works for me. A morning glory was what flowed out – the same color as the ones that grew on the backyard fence where I grew up. It is lovingly embellished with encaustic stamens to help grab the viewers eye and guide it through the composition.
