How magically light changes in a snowy woods! During an afternoon winter walk in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts, my friend Jessica recalled how one area was rosy pink toned, then the next area was flooded with orange light, and then another was filled with blue light. I painted this from a photo and adjusted the colors to be very blue.
