Paradise Lost is #2 in my West Coast Wildfire series of pictures In 2018 Paradise CA was one of the first Western towns to literally disappear overnight due to climate change boosted extreme wildfires. This impressionistic landscape, in the colors of the aftermath, expresses the feeling of flying by in a firebomber so low and fast that the ashes and the retardant blur and only hints of the burned trees can be seen.
