Prevalent throughout world, colonial architecture is adorned throughout the world and specifically New Orleans, Charleston, Mississippi and the Caribbean. Colonization drove this architecture. However, the principal builders of these structures- slaves, are not recognized. This collection of paintings honors these slaves as they can be scene within the artwork perfectly woven in their brilliance and beauty. These homes are from the Charleston, South Carolina area. This painting is titled “Brown” which is an African tribal color.
