I started this piece in 2008, I spent hours building the face with layers of watered down black acrylic paint. After painting the buddha face, I was at a loss for direction. Over the years I'd look at it and try to determine what direction to take when finally in 2022 realized how to complete this piece. I couldn't be happier with how this turned out. Acrylic and Pearl-ex on paper.
