After living in Sacramento for 7 years, I came back home to heal and be with family. I allowed myself to be vulnerable and let another into my life only to be broken hearted. Following that relationship, I decided to date an old acquaintance after they confessed their feelings for me. Which turned out to be a terrible mistake. I found myself being verbally abused and sexually assaulted by someone I thought I could trust within a two-week period. This was the beginning of my downward spiral in my mental health which led me to a brief stay in a hospital for my mental health. Ink and acrylic on paper
