After dealing with a hard break up, and forced to move with little notice from my roommate who was being deployed. I found a loving family who allowed me to live with them. They were beautiful and I cherished their kindness and sense of family they provided. Though, we lost connection years ago, there isn't a time I don't think about them in fondness. This piece represents the peace I felt in that moment and how fortunate I was to be apart of their lives. Ink and acrylic on paper
