**Title: All Doomed** This digital drawing, created with an iPencil on an iPad, draws inspiration from Anatole France's *Revolt of the Angels*, a fictional narrative about a group of earthbound angels rebelling against God, set against the backdrop of the French Revolution. In crafting this piece, I aimed to echo the style of Frank C. Pape, whose artwork is featured in the book. My depiction of the rebellious angel, adorned with horns and poised like a general ready to wage war against the heavens, encapsulates the essence of rebellion. The phrase “Omnis Maledicti,” meaning "all cursed" or "all doomed," adorns the banner, suggesting that the angel is declaring the inevitable doom of God and His followers. The narrative delves into themes of critical thinking, poetry, and the arts—endeavors the angels yearn for yet are forbidden to pursue, as they defy divine decree. The cherubs with seeing eyes symbolize the attributes of science, philosophy, music, and the arts, embodying the very aspirations that the angels long to embrace.
