As I was creating this I began to feel a real strength & power coming from the bold color combination and movement. At some point it began to remind me of my country, probably because of the colors. But it was more than that. We witnessed a lot of bloodshed, violence, and turmoil in 2020 (when this was painted). However, we also witnessed a lot of love – so many people doing what they could to help others whose lives were torn apart.
