Smile and wave

Holidays By Margaret R. Isensee

The Battle of Flowers Parade was the longest parade that I’ve ever seen personally. My first one was about three or four hours! I’ve never been to a parade that long. One of my favorite parts is to see the men and women on horses dressed up with Mexican flavor, especially the men who do rope tricks on horses. It’s hard for me to get really great images when everyone in the parade moves. However, I set my camera to automatic and then find a spot in front or above the crowd. Hopefully, a place where I’m not in anyone’s way.
