Can I Have a Bite?

Animals By Margaret R. Isensee

Do you find yourself filling your life full of work and chores while leaving out brief periods of relief? Life suddenly becomes a marathon from sunrise to sunset. After trying to run two businesses, doing things with my husband and church, running errands, and cooking, I find out that I’m too busy to go off the beaten path to enjoy the little things in life. For example, Hugo and I love to feed animals we find during our trips. The picture “Can I Have a Bite?” was taken at the San Antonio Zoo. They used to have a Coy Fish pond to the left of the entrance. Next to the pond they placed a vending machine for fish food. I had so much fun getting the fish to eat from my hand! We even tried to name some of them. (I think the one on the left we may have called Jaws.) And of course I took lots of pictures!
