A broody and dramatic sky billows across the horizon of a frozen lake. Snow speckles a line of dark pines, spruce and fir trees that wait on the horizon for the sunset to greet them cold blue and grey clouds reach across the sky, drowning the pale yellow glow and stretching its shadows across the reflective icy surface. There is an old saying in the Saint John Valley that you will be able to tell the weather by the third day of the month. Trois Fait Les Mois.
