Every year they hold a reenactment in Goliad Tx to represent the the Celato Creek battle between Texans and the Mexican army. 360 Texans took almost 500 Mexican foot soldiers and carvery. The Texans put up a good fight but the lack of food and water resulted in their defeat. The remaining prisoners were marched to Goiiad and then executed.
