Urban Sketching By Cassie Carroll

For a long time one of my goals has been to practice an urban sketching technique with water colors. I was finally able to do that on a trip to New York City. This building was across the street from our hotel and I could see it from the lobby. The vibrant red caught my interest. I love that I was able to capture the vibrancy of the exterior’s color and the character of the building.
