Coffee and Tea Art By Cassie Carroll

This coffee wall art was created from an original collage inspired by the American painter and graphic artist Robert Rauschenberg. Rauschenberg's work combined layers of non-traditional objects on a painted canvas, creating a hybrid between a painting and sculpture. I began exploring this method in order that my artwork would reflect the complexity and multi-faceted layers of life. One can see the layers of scrapbook paper and wrappers from coffee and tea bags. Additionally, coffee and tea related words taken from advertisements are incorporated. Combine the Coffee Cup with the Tea Cup listing found in this group to enhance your kitchen decor.
