Out the Window Pen and Ink Southwest Landscape

This southwestern art print, created from an original pen and ink drawing, was inspired during my visit to Marana, AZ. During one of my regular breathing treatments I sketched what I saw out the window: the southwest landscape with its cactus scene that included prickly pear cactus and southwest cacti. When I returned to my home in Texas, I became obsessed with this sketch (OCD can come in handy!). I drew 4 almost identical pen and ink drawings, keeping two black and white, colored in one with colored pencil and the last one with watercolor. I gave the original water color to my hostess in appreciation of her hospitality.
