Madrid, New Mexico is a quaint little town on the east side of the Sandia Mountains. While lunching there one day I sketched these red chile ristras hanging on a fence near our table. Once back home in Albuquerque I drew the sketch in pen and ink, completing the artwork in water color. These red chili ristras hanging from a fence are ideal for friends and family who love southwest decor. The color of the ristras make a great accent piece in the office, on a desk or entryway table, or any room that calls for that unique New Mexico art touch.
