Pisces Love

Sensual Dreams By Erika Tirado

Pisces is the Latin word for “fishes.” The symbol of two fish swimming in opposite directions is very old, the first record of it was found on an ancient Egyptian coffin around 2300 BC. The symbol of the two fish in the sign of Pisces are usually interpreted as swimming away from each other; one fish represents dreams/heavens/spirituality, and the other practicality/earth/materialism. But instead of there being a constant struggle in this duality, I like to interpret the two fish as swimming towards each other to create unity, completion and…. to make love by creating a lovely 69 shape ;) In my version, I re-imagined the two fish as two magical underwater beings making love and enjoying each other. There’s a Greek myth in particular where Poseidon and Aphrodite are lovers. So I was inspired by that too.
