Two Canoes

Waters Edge By Deborah Blair

When I was creating this watercolor I was trying to see through the water in the shallows to expose the rocks. I happened to walk by it while it was drying and noticed it moved with me. The boats get longer or shorter depending on the angle. I used cold press paper along with masking techniques and both wet on wet and wet on dry methods. Completed on 5-9-19
