I wanted to paint a country scene and this old tractor with all its rust was a part of the landscape near us for a very long time. I decided to paint it when I was experimenting with different techniques for backgrounds.The colors I used were to try to give the feeling of the end of the summer with the fall approaching. I also used masking technique and both wet on wet and wet on dry methods. Completed on 3-11-22
