This spring bird caught my eye. I just happened to capture an image of this little hummingbird around some orange and pink wildflowers. I painted this watercolor piece trying to create close up on the bird with the background fading away. Painted on cold press watercolor paper with both wet on wet and wet on dry techniques consisting of several layers. Completed on 10-22-21
