This painting is of an old house that stands in a country landscape near me. I found the architecture fascinating from the narrow depth of the construction to the scalloped wood boards under the overhang of the rusty tin roof with the lonely mailbox in front of the building. Again trying to capture the light and shadows of a mid morning summer day. I painted this watercolor on cold press paper. I used masking technique along with layering wet on wet and wet on dry methods. completed on 4-20-21
