The snow is melting. The sun is setting. Every season comes to an end. A final ride in a sunset sky to close a great skiing season. This is completed in colored pencil. It is my personal favorite of the collection. The vibrant sky and reflecting water make this image pop. The gray blue of the snow in shadow was a color that was so fun to try to try and produce with colored pencil. It took lots of workshopping. The color is so specific to snow in shadow and I love how I was able to reproduce it here.
