A Giclee Print of the original painting "He is Risen" (Mt 28) by A.Vonn Hartung, #1 from the series of 14 Stations of the Resurrection (Via Lucis). In this first station we are confronted, as are the women who approached the tomb, with the feeling of other worldliness upon seeing the angel and the empty tomb. . In symbolic language we have a circle within the square. The square represents our present earth-bound reality, our orientation of north, south, east, and west. The circle symbolizes the divine dimension of Eternity. It is also a symbol of the Eucharist. These symbols are maintained throughout all the stations except for one. The bottom half of all the stations shows Christ’s Cross at Golgotha, which for us is the bridge between this life and the life to come, with God in Eternity through Christ’s Resurrection. These giclee prints are produced with cutting edge inkjet technology, printed on archival canvas, acid-free, with archival-grade pigmented inks, ensuring exceptional quality and longevity. The inks are fade resistant and have a superior color range compared to other types of inks. Artisan Archival Canvas—print has a satin (low gloss level) appearance. Gatorboard—Your canvas print will be flush mounted/borderless to this 3/16” or ½” thick board. Lightweight and rigid. Not Mounted—When ordered unframed, an extra 2-inch border is added around the size being ordered providing extra canvas for mounting. Canvas prints which are unmounted or unframed are usually shipped rolled in a sturdy shipping tube. Stretched Mount – ¾” Deep—The canvas print will be mounted over 3/4-inch thick (depth) stretcher bars. These prints are meant to be inserted into a frame. Stretched Mount – 1.5” Deep—The canvas print will be mounted over 1.5-inch thick (depth) stretcher bars. These prints are meant to be hung unframed or inserted into a canvas floater frame. Dibond Metal print—your artwork is printed directly on 1/8-inch (3 mm) thick aluminum Dibond panels (a sturdy aluminum composite sheet with a plastic core). Printed with UV-inks directly to the panel; durable, waterproof, and weather resistant. Ideal for outdoors or areas with high foot traffic. Metallic surface has an underlying white base coat applied to the surface providing an optimal color range during printing.
