A giclee print of the original painting "First Visit" by A.Vonn Hartung. This is a very interesting and controversial painting. It shows Jesus embracing his mother in her kitchen on the morning He rose from the dead. This is a visualization of the extra-biblical belief that many Catholics have, that Christ visited his mother first, before the empty tomb was discovered on Easter morning. Although extra-biblical many western saints subscribed to this belief (Saints Albert the Great, Ignatius of Loyola, Teresa of Avila, and Pope St. John Paul II) and it is a tradition in many Eastern Churches. And of course, most mothers love this Station of the Resurrection. These giclee prints are produced with cutting edge inkjet technology, printed on archival canvas, acid-free, with archival-grade pigmented inks, ensuring exceptional quality and longevity. The inks are fade resistant and have a superior color range compared to other types of inks. Artisan Archival Canvas—print has a satin (low gloss level) appearance. Gatorboard—Your canvas print will be flush mounted/borderless to this 3/16” or ½” thick board. Lightweight and rigid. Not Mounted—When ordered unframed, an extra 2-inch border is added around the size being ordered providing extra canvas for mounting. Canvas prints which are unmounted or unframed are usually shipped rolled in a sturdy shipping tube. Stretched Mount – ¾” Deep—The canvas print will be mounted over 3/4-inch thick (depth) stretcher bars. These prints are meant to be inserted into a frame. Stretched Mount – 1.5” Deep—The canvas print will be mounted over 1.5-inch thick (depth) stretcher bars. These prints are meant to be hung unframed or inserted into a canvas floater frame. Dibond Metal print—your artwork is printed directly on 1/8-inch (3 mm) thick aluminum Dibond panels (a sturdy aluminum composite sheet with a plastic core). Printed with UV-inks directly to the panel; durable, waterproof, and weather resistant. Ideal for outdoors or areas with high foot traffic. Metallic surface has an underlying white base coat applied to the surface providing an optimal color range during printing.
