A giclee print of the original painting, Miracle of Our Lady of Guadalupe by A.Vonn Hartung. According to tradition, in 1531 the Blessed Mother appeared twice to Juan Diego, an Aztec convert to Christianity. She instructed him to have a church built in her honor. The bishop demanded a sign before he would approve construction of a church. Mary appeared a second time to Juan Diego and ordered him to collect roses and in a second audience with the bishop, Juan Diego opened his cloak, letting dozens of roses fall to the floor, revealing the image of Mary imprinted on the inside of the cloak.
